Call for Volunteers - Wednesday, September 22nd
in the Huggins Science Hall Auditorium (HSH010)

This year's call for volunteers will be held in two sessions:

***People interested in volunteering for Friday Night S.M.I.L.E. please attend from 5:00-5:30pm

***People interested in volunteering for Saturday Morning S.M.I.L.E. please attend from 5:30-6:00pm

S.M.I.L.E. is an innovative program providing participants of all abilities physical and sensory opportunities. Weekly sessions involve working together with participants on goals in the gym, pool, and sensory rooms.

In order to be a S.M.I.L.E. volunteer, you must commit to each session of the programming day you sign up for. The first sessions will be held on November 5/6, and the last on December 3/4.

*To volunteer with S.M.I.L.E., you must have a valid criminal record check. When submitting a CRC, the date of completion on the form must be from within the past 6 months. CRC’s will be valid with us for 3 years past the date of completion. Contact smile@acadiau.ca in order to receive a letter requesting a CRC for you on our behalf, that you can then provide to the local police detachment. CRC forms can be acquired at the Acadia University Safety and Security Desk.
